| White House Visit | ||||
  Dr.Perry was asked to create the state Easter egg to represent Rhode Island at the White House Easter 2006. Dr. Perry created a small sterling silver sculpture of a little girl discovering a seashell this small sculpture was nestled in an opened eggshell. The piece is titled "Discover Rhode Island". Dr. Perry created two of these works. One he presented to the Govenor's wife, Mrs. Carcerie, at the Rhode Island Statehouse in January and the other was exhibited at the White House during the 2006 Easter celebration and will become part of the Bush library. |
